Dear Friends:
It appears that Spring is coming and not a minute too soon for most of us. The sunny days and warmer temperatures help us to anticipate working in our gardens, mowing lawns and enjoying the out of doors. Our Annual Spring Garden Day is scheduled for April 5th and promises to bring you the latest information on plants and gardening techniques. Beginning in May, Master Gardeners will be setting up shop on the second floor of the Cooperstown office to answer your gardening questions. 4-H clubs, Reality Check and Leatherstocking's Promise all have exciting events planned including teaching clinics, dances, and trips. The 4-H'ers will also be conducting their annual cookie and candy sale to raise money for their projects and activities. Please help the youth by purchasing a package or two when they come to your door. Finally, during these uncertain times, family and friends are even more important to us, so take a moment to enjoy those around you and the beautiful Spring days.
